A thankful note from one of Dr. Larian’s patients

Dr. Larian,

On this Thanksgiving day, I’d like to express again my thanks for the fine surgical work that you and Dr. Azzizadeh performed.

I have no visible scar and the reconstructive work has resulted, as expected in no “divot” from the superficial parotidectomy.

I can even wiggle both ears again, although the right moves less than the left – a comical effect.

Better still, I have had no evidence of any spread of the disease. I’ve just finished a round of radiation therapy, which was preceded by three sessions of chemo.

My treatments are all completed, and I’m feeling great. I never had any symptoms, and the side effects of treatment were minimal.

I know I was fortunate that we caught the lymphoma early, but I also know that it was surgical skill that got the tumor out cleanly. Thanks again.
